Hey y'all,

Yesterday when I went to see my baby, I made her a promise: when I came back, Cynthia's One Bite Delight #2 would be up and running.

Well, today I officially approved the design for my food truck! Next stop—the wrap!

I also want to thank my silent financial backer. You know who you are. You came into my life at the right time, encouraged me when I needed it most, and believed in my dream. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This isn't just about opening a food truck. It's about building a legacy and honoring my mother's dream. My vision is bigger than one truck or one restaurant. I'm talking multiple locations and franchising!

Y'all go follow Cynthia's One Bite Delight #2 on Facebook. Big things are coming, including a FREE food tasting for the community.

The dream is moving, the vision is growing, and we're just getting started. ❤️ ’sOneBiteDelight

Y’all, tonight was AMAZING! ❤️🔥

I had the chance to support 93 Hibachi Food Truck and Hood Gourmet LLC Catering Company, and both experiences were top tier! The customer service, love, and FOOD were all on point! Whew! I had the lamb chops, shrimp, chicken, noodles, rice, and veggies… and baby, everything was GOOD! 😂

What blessed me most was connecting with other food business owners who understand that we don’t have to compete — we can support each other because there’s enough out here for all of us to win! 🙌🏾

Jacksonville/Oakleaf, get ready because Cynthia’s is almost outside too! ❤️ My second food truck is almost ready for inspection, and if all goes well, y’all will see me in these streets by August!

Support 93 Hibachi, Hood Gourmet LLC, and all small businesses out here grinding and cooking with love!

What a full circle moment. ❤️

This weekend has been — not probably — but truly the BEST I’ve felt in a long time.

Yesterday, I said, “You know what? I’m making Grandma’s chicken for Sunday dinner.” One of my mom’s signature meals… one of the dishes she loved making at her restaurant. A meal made with love, comfort, and legacy.

And some things you just can’t make up.

God has a way of speaking to you in ways only He can. Tonight was one of those moments. As I’m standing in the kitchen cooking one of her favorite meals to make, I turn on the television as I’m finishing cooking and guess what episode is on Bizarre Foods… MY MOM’S, y’all!!!

I froze.

I laughed. I cried. I smiled.

Because in that moment, I knew. For real. My mama is with me. ❤️

Tonight felt like confirmation. A push forward. A reminder to keep going. To move forward with the business plan that’s been sitting on my heart — and the one I was moving to Jacksonville to build with her. But don’t worry Junction City and surrounding cities in Kansas, I’m coming to see you too!

👀 Coming soon, Clay and Duval Counties!

But tonight reminded me:

Legacy never dies.Love never leaves. And purpose still calls.

It’s been 16,891,200 seconds… 281,520 minutes… 4,692 hours… 195 days—6 months since I’ve seen your face, touched your hand, talked to you, kissed you, hugged you, and been in your presence.

And not a single day has gone by that you haven’t been missed. 💔

The days feel longer now. A piece of me left when you closed your eyes on October 19, 2025. I’ve felt every part of grief—denial, bargaining, anger, depression, and even moments of acceptance. But truthfully… I still get stuck in anger. It’s so hard to accept you’re no longer here with me. I find solace knowing you are no longer suffering—but it’s still hard to accept you are not here with me.

Still, I get up every day and put one foot forward because there are two little people depending on me. And I hear you in my spirit saying, “Get up, baby. You got this. You can do it.”

And sometimes I whisper back… “You were supposed to be here with me.”

We were supposed to do life together again—build, dream, and grow side by side. Every business I’ve ever started had you in it—my supporter, my guide, my cheerleader, my mentor. You will always be the GOAT when it comes to entrepreneurship.

Now it’s different. It’s harder. But it’s not impossible.

Because I carry you with me. 🤍

Moma, I miss you more than words could ever express… but I also carry your legacy. And I meant it when I said I would take your name to the mountaintop.

So slow and steady… that’s how I’m moving.

You placed angels around me, and they haven’t let me give up or give in.

And I won’t.

I know you see the movement and are smiling. It’s coming, Moma. Please continue to guide me, be with me, and encourage me on this journey. I miss you so much, and I love you even more.

Homegoing Celebration for Cynthia L. Cornish aka My Superhero

Sunrise: August 23, 1958 Sunset: October 19, 2025

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She found great joy in giving back and helping others, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Her home was a safe haven—a place where many came for a fresh start or a good home-cooked meal. My mom’s heart was loving, generous, and full of compassion; there was nothing she wouldn’t do for her family or anyone in need.

It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of my mother, Cynthia Loretta Cornish! Heaven gained an angel 😇 late last night as she was called home to glory. She transitioned peacefully, surrounded by family and a room overflowing with love. God knows I didn’t want her to leave me, but He reminded me that her assignment on this side of the mountain was complete — and now she’s beginning her new assignment in glory. A piece of me left when she did.

Lord, I thank You for blessing me with a loving, devoted, dedicated, and supportive mother, friend, and confidant. Mama, watch over us as we prepare to lay you to rest. I love you forever. 🤍

“To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” — 2 Corinthians 5:8

Funeral services are being planned, and we will share an update once all details have been finalized. Thank you all for your prayers, love, and continued support during this difficult time.
