418 Restaurant

418 Restaurant The 418 Restaurant is a student-run restaurant as part of the curriculum for the Culinary Arts and Sustainable Food Systems degree program.

Welcome to one of KVCC’s Culinary Arts & Sustainable Food Systems classrooms. Restaurant 418 offers a unique learning opportunity as a student-run operation. Our chefs-in-training are serving regional American cuisine that they’ve crafted with foods from local farms and our Food Innovations Center, our own urban ‘farm’ on campus. We appreciate all the support our Kalamazoo community has given us!

🍽️Several people have asked about the cost for the meal at the 418 Restaurant. I do acknowledge it's on the menu but it is difficult to see.🍽️

Just as a reminder the 418 Restaurant is a fine dining lunch experience. The cost for the 3-course lunch is $33 and that includes non alcoholic beverages.

The menu is subject to change based on ingredient availability and student recipe development during the term.

Please call 269.548.3239 for reservations. You will be asked to leave a message and a student will return your call to confirm. Please note students are in class Monday - Thursday.

🍽️The students and faculty appreciate your support of the 418 Restaurant. The beginning of the semester has had an unusual start because the college was closed because of the snow and cold weather.

🍽️When calling to make a reservation, please leave your name and number plus if you know a date and time that would be helpful too. Let the students know of any allergies. They will return your call at their earliest convenience. Just in case you did not know the students are in class Monday - Thursday from 9am - 1pm.

The 418 Restaurant is temporarily closed as students prepare for their finals. A new group of students will start next week to prepare for opening the restaurant for the remainder of the semester.

The 418 will reopen on Wednesday October 9th. If you want to make reservations for the next term, please wait until Wednesday, October 22nd to call (269.548.3239).
