Hello everyone! Spinners has had a couple of setbacks in the past couple days. We are working through them as we speak and expect things to be back to normal quickly. First, we are on a concrete slab, we enjoyed the same cold snap everyone else did. Our floor drains, or the gunk in them, froze. That has corrected itself, but we were closed during the freezing rain to give both things time to warm up.
The next challenge is more complex but rather than let the gossip mill run amuck, I want to get ahead of that. Our insurance for liquor sales lapsed. I was told it was handled, it was not. Our agent didn't let me know until it was too late. What that means is we will not take any chances with our licenses. Nini's and The Hangar are both open and will remain open. Spinners will reopen as soon as we acquire the proper insurance to sell liquor. Yes this sucks, yes I'm unhappy, yes I will find a way to fix this and get retribution. But I will not do the wrong thing for a few dollars.
