🚨LAST CALL🚨This week is the last week to order our coffee beans 😭 Pick up is at Belicose. Our turn around time is slightly delayed due to the holiday and slimmed down operations. Our roasting website will be disabled on Sunday - so that’s the very last day to place your order! Thank you for your support in these last days! 💕

Today is our last day open 🌷 It is especially hard as we say farewell to all of you guys who have supported us from the beginning! Thank you to the amazing neighbors & community we’ve had the pleasure of meeting through the years!

We also want to acknowledge & thank all our staff that have been a part of shaping each era of Prefix — what a joy & honor it has been to witness beautiful friendships grow from strangers gathering together over coffee day in and day out 💕

Our shop would not be what it is if not for the fun, creative, kind-hearted, & hard-working crew that we’ve got to call ours. To all those that are pictured in these photos and many others that I didn’t have photos of on my phone at the moment…thank you for your dedication and support for our team to the end🥲💛

🖤 We’re all still a bit in disbelief that we’re posting this today. Our team has felt the weight of it all and there’s no easy way share this — so, despite the mix of emotions we’re navigating right now, we’ve tried our best to express the core of what we’re feeling in this post.

Please take a moment to read & share if you feel compelled. We’d love to see as many friends in our cafes next week before our last day so we can celebrate how God has blessed us with so many beautiful friendships that we hope will last long after our doors are shut.

📌 Next Friday, Nov. 7th is our last day open at Midtown & Lightwell. The Grand and Lee’s Summit have closed.

Opening late at Midtown today! Unfortunately our shop got broken into last night and the register was broken into. Sadly this isn’t the first time it’s happen to us & our neighbors as these type of things are increasingly common at local shops 😣 We will open at 8am today and can do card only. Sorry about that y’all 💛 Appreciate your patience & support!

😱 Can anyone believe we’re almost halfway through October already?? Hope you’re checking all the fun things off your fall bucket list — including trying all of our seasonal drinks 😉

This one here is the Spiced Crème Brûlée Latte. It’s one of our favorite fall drinks that we keep bringing back every year! Our latte is crafted with all the quintessential harvest season spices and enveloped in our decadent caramel syrup. It’s our Prefix house-made syrup that’s an excellent alternative to the traditional PSL. You can even try it as a breve for an extra creamy indulgence!
