Stop into west bottoms location to try our new Peach Osmotic special release roasted in collaboration with

Juan David Puerta from is the genius behind this innovation in processing.

Being a flavor engineer by trade Juan David has focused on creating new and complex flavors in coffee through a method called Osmotic Dehydration. This mind boggling procedure involves making a reduction of syrup from fruit pulp that is then mixed with glucose before being fermented in enclosed tanks alongside the coffee seeds. Through the OD process the liquid creates a hermetic environment that directly flavors the coffee while also simultaneously beginning to remove its moisture. From there it is fully dried on a patio alongside the remaining pulp before being milled, sorted and vacuum sealed for export.

With a heavy heart we say goodbye to the 1717 Walnut location that gave us refuge - but it’s time to focus on a permanent flagship to call home!

We’ve partnered with our friends at Black Hole Bakery to bring you a dope new cafe β€œNovella”, coming soon in The West Bottoms & the Northland.

The Slow Bar will be back bigger and better! In the meantime, we will be dropping exclusive merch, popping up across the city & continuing our guest roast program (with a twist!)

Thank you for the love, Crossroads fam & for giving us a place to call home.

Our final day of serving in the crossroads will be Saturday, November 5th. Come say hi, bye & see you soon!
