Good afternoon friends! We don’t usually do long posts like this so please bear with us!
As the last months of the year start to book up, we inevitably end up in a spot that we have to turn away orders because our schedule is full. We wish we had endless time because we truly, genuinely love and appreciate being a part of all of your celebrations! Whenever we are in this position, we offer a list of other bakers/bakeries that we feel offer incredible, quality products to meet your needs. It is almost always met with “wow!! I can’t believe you are recommending a competitor!” “You’re not afraid they’ll steal your business??” “Not a smart business choice!” “Keep recommending others and you’ll run the risk of your customer base liking other people’s products more than your own.” Etc. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, so respectfully-WHAT?! Here at Silly Moose, we believe there are plenty of customers for everyone. Today more than ever, it’s so important to support other women, small/local businesses. Small businesses are not using their hard earned cookie baking money to go on their 3rd extravagant vacation this year, they’re using it to pay for their daughter’s glasses that insurance won’t cover. They’re using it to buy groceries to feed their families. They’re saving and saving that cookie money in hopes to upgrade their baking equipment to better serve the customers in their community. We want to see these small businesses succeed as badly as we want our own success. So as the year comes to a close and openings fill up, we hope you choose one of these guys to support! We can proudly say we have tried them all and we are confident with our recommendations!
Whoopie Pies- Mumma’s Cakes and Confections. You guys, I lose sleep thinking about her pumpkin whoopie pies. And when I do fall asleep, they are what I dream about! It’s hard to eat JUST one!!
Cookies- Keene On Cookies. She is a cookie artist! You’re not just buying a snack, you’re buying art! It takes a long time to eat her beautifully decorated cookies because you don’t want to stop admiring them!
Cupcakes- B Bakes and Deli. I believe they’re using witchcraft. It’s the only explanation for the texture of their cupcake. It is incomparable to any other that we’ve had. Simply Delicious. Not to mention the incredible selection you have to choose from! Get one of her brownies while you’re there!
Cakes-Baker’s Knead it More. What a talented baker! The amount of flavor packed into her products will blow you away!
Cake Pops/Chocolate treats- Wildflower Treat Co. This Mama is a master of her craft and it shows in her products! It’s evident when someone is passionate about what they do and her cake pops are a perfect example of that!
Try these bakers! You won’t regret it!
From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU. Without your support, living this beautiful crazy dream would not be possible! Every single purchase, like, comment, share helps build us up. We would not be here without this incredible community around us. We are so grateful for every one of you. 🫶🏼🫎🤍
