It’s a new year and we have exciting news to share!
After 7+ amazing years, it’s time to hand over the reigns.
Please meet Nate Travis and his wife Bailey, the new owners of Dock Square Coffee House! Many of you have already met Nate as he has been learning the ropes since late summer. I’m so excited for the two of them to put their own stamp on our little neighborhood coffee shop. I couldn’t have found a better fit.
As for me, family is calling and we’re moving back to the Philly area to be closer.
But before leaving, I want to express my deepest gratitude to…
* The most amazing and supportive business community: thank you for embracing us from day one and for the love you’ve shown us over the years. This is a very special town and I’m so lucky to have been a business owner amongst you talented and hardworking women and men. I’ve learned so much and am inspired by you all!
* Our awesome customers from near and far: thank you for your patronage, fun banter and for the privilege of getting to know you. I will miss seeing you regularly and catching up, friends!
* Our super team of baristas: thank you for coming back year after year, season and after season and for embodying the essence of what a coffee shop atmosphere should be. You killed it! You’re like family and I will miss you greatly!
* Last but not least: my husband Edd/Eduardo ❤️ Thank you for filling in the blanks, running countless errands, for keeping me calm and bringing me back to earth when things got challenging and for letting me follow my sometimes crazy dreams. You are my rock and my perfect counterpart! Let’s see what I can dream up next…
