Our Kat is out here changing the world ❤️🌍

While we’re holding things down back home, Kat is spending her final study abroad trip with KSU in Africa working with children and serving local communities — and honestly, we couldn’t be more proud.

For the last 3 years, she has been part of our work family, bringing heart, hustle, and positivity everywhere she goes. Whether she’s on the truck, helping guests, or now loving on kids halfway across the world, she leads with kindness in everything she does.

She speaks FOUR languages, dreams of working in Paris someday, and somehow still stays one of the most humble people we know.

Kat, thank you for showing us what it looks like to serve others with compassion and courage. We can’t wait to hear all about your adventures when you get home… although we fully expect you to come back with a new accent and a suitcase full of stories. 😂❤️

The Cheezy Truck & Gaston Street Eats Food Truck had the honor of serving 1,000+ amazing hospital workers during Hospital Staff Appreciation Week! From gourmet grilled cheese to Southern favorites, our team loved celebrating the healthcare heroes who work tirelessly to care for our communities every single day. ❤️

To all the nurses, doctors, technicians, environmental services teams, cafeteria staff, administration, EMS, and healthcare workers — THANK YOU for your dedication, compassion, and long hours. We were truly honored to serve you this past week!
