We kicked things off today with FREE pint coozies with every pint purchase (they are almost gone now!)

🚨 Officially the first Friday of Summer Break! 🚨

TLDR: Congratulations on surviving another school year. Your reward is ice cream. We checked the rules. That’s how summer works. 🍦😂

Teachers are free. Kids are free. Parents are…well…doing their best. 😅

So what are your big plans this afternoon? Pool? Yard work? Naps? Avoiding your responsibilities until Monday? We support all of those choices.

We’ll be open from 4 PM to 8 PM serving up fresh waffle cones, pints, donut ice cream sandwiches, and enough ice cream to make you forget that you promised yourself you’d start eating healthier “next week.”

It’s going to be a beautiful day, so grab the family, grab a friend, or just come enjoy a few peaceful minutes hiding from everyone while eating ice cream.

Summer break has officially begun. We think that deserves a scoop (or three). 🍦☀️

Confession time…

I left What’s the Scoop tonight fully intending to be responsible. I was going to go home, have a small snack, work on some crafts, and call it a night.

Then I got a couple blocks from home and spotted vieyrasmacandmore truck at Sage Brewing.

Listen…some things are just bigger than our plans.

You don’t have to threaten me with a good time. The second I saw that truck, I was pulling in for my favorite mac and cheese. Zero hesitation. Zero self-control. Zero regrets.

Small business owners supporting other small business owners is one of my favorite things. If you see a local food truck, bakery, coffee shop, restaurant, or little ice cream store 😉, stop in and show them some love. We’re all out here trying to make delicious things and survive adulthood.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have mac and cheese to eat and crafts to make. 🧀❤️🍦🎨

🥶 Brrr… this cold front (aka the 70s) is a little wild for June. Especially after we’ve already had a taste of the 80s and 90s the last couple of weeks.

Good news though: it’s still ice cream weather.

(Let’s be honest… every weather is ice cream weather.)

And since today is National Donut Day, it sounds like the perfect excuse to stop by and treat yourself to one of our donut ice cream sandwiches. We won’t judge if you celebrate the holiday more than once.

After much debate, tasting, and probably overthinking, we’ve added two new flavors for the weekend:

🍌 Banana Pudding loaded with vanilla wafers
🫐🍋 Huckleberry Lemonade — sweet, tart, and perfect for pretending summer didn’t just take a day off

What a beautiful afternoon it was—complete with a party sunny skies, a gorgeous rainbow, and so much love. We had an amazing time serving your guests and helping celebrate the start of your next chapter together.

There’s something pretty special about watching people gather, laugh, celebrate, and enjoy ice cream on a day they’ll remember forever.
