We hit up an under the radar gem that I feel doesn’t get enough attention. The shredded beef taquitos and tacos el carbon at Isla Bonita Mexican Dining in Richland is where it’s at. Even the rice and beans are extra delicious. If anyone knows how they make them, drop the secret in the comments. They’re legit.

The look on my face when my prime directive, rule #1, is to never ever post about negative experiences because this place is filled with to much of that already but sometimes you feel like you’re being tested… 😜

There’s a reason why I don’t post the negative… I spent 10 years in front of the house. Sometimes things just go sideways. It just happens. Systems and processes, however well designed, can fail miserably.

So here’s my question.

When things go sideways for you at a spot, chalk it up as a loss and go back?

Or do you put that place at the tail end of the rotation of options for a while?

We hit up The Bradley last night with some friends. The food was outstanding. The menu is packed with some great choices. The filet, the mussels, and the Brie were a hit I’d get again. I’m looking forward to trying the salmon and the French Onion soup.

The service was top notch. And when I say top notch, I mean top notch. This place will be in my upcoming rotation a little more frequently.
