🍞 WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU QUESTIONABLE FOCACCIA… BAKE IT ANYWAY! 😂

Okay, so let me tell you the story behind this SUPER THICK focaccia bread! 👀

The last time I was prepping a double batch of focaccia, I accidentally added too much salt. 🤦‍♀️ I completely forgot that our seasoning mix already has salt in it!

I tried to salvage the dry ingredients by removing as much of the extra salt as I could, but then I started wondering if I’d taken out too much baking powder in the process. So I was left with two possibilities:

A. It wasn’t going to rise. 😬

B. It was going to taste like I dumped the entire salt shaker into it. 🧂

And honestly? Neither sounded like something I wanted to share with all of you!

BUT tonight is Italian night at our house, so I figured… why not bake up this questionable batch for myself? Worst case, dinner gets a little interesting. 😂

WELL… LOOK AT THIS BEAUTY! 😍🍞

It just came out of the oven, the house smells AMAZING, and it actually baked up beautifully! Now I’m just waiting for dinner so I can slice into this ridiculously thick focaccia and see how it tastes. 🤞

Sometimes the best mishaps happen in the kitchen. Plus you better believe I’m not wasting these gluten free products... they're expensive.
