📕 📖 The summer reading series at the Winkler County Library is in full swing this week, and I was thrilled to stop by this afternoon to read a couple of books to a very good group of bright students in Kermit!

This wonderful program provides wonderful educational opportunities during the summer heat for kiddos in Winkler County, and we all had a lot of fun together.

One book led to a spirited discussion about potentially changing the official bird of Texas from the mockingbird to something else….
