:) Don't EVER go to the Oasis....unless you have to have a fabulous, rocking good time, dancing under the stars and mixing it up with some solid, true people. The bikers that casually shake the road off their leather to sit down with us mere mortals. The wild dance of the young, as they find danger, lust and love by the light of the jukebox and the sound of pool balls crashing into each other. I swear it was Ron Powell sneaking up behind me who rang that bell. And that ghost in the basement? Oh yeah, true story. But all he requires is a shot or two laid out on the bar (Rick will happily put that on your tab) and a kind thought his way as you punch in an an endless stream of legendary music (sweet home alabama anyone?) for us all to dance to . And as Rick witnesses the joy that opens your heart and your wallets, the old (yet somehow generous) skinflint will bring back live music (Martha's Trouble, Rick, bring them back. They totally rocked! As for the rest....call me. Got a finger on the pulse of truly great Michigan locals who would love a visit to the incandescantly beautiful Elk Lake) and the dance will go on and on....and on and on...........and on....and on.....
