In fact, sprinkles are our specialty! Just like our rainbow sprinkles we regularly have, these Red, White, & Blue sprinkles are totally dye free! Naturally colored with vegetable extracts & spices, you can leave the red 40 behind where you’re at Mickey’s Igloo 🍦

On rainy days like today, we’re experimenting with getting back on doordash. If you want a sweet treat or a Mickey’s Burger later on today but you don’t want to leave the house, be sure to check the app to see if we’re open for delivery… 👀

Weekend Update! 🇺🇸

Mickey’s Igloo be closed on Saturday July 4th to give our team a much deserved day off! We will be open regular hours for every other day.

For all the folks who will miss us, you can bring Mickey’s home for the holiday! We just made a big batch of our Mickey’s Burger Sauce for folks who will be doing their own grilling on Saturday! To get as close to the real thing as you can, we suggest stopping by The Meat Wagon for your ground beef and then picking up some Martin’s potato buns, American Cheese 🇺🇸, lettuce, & onion. And you’ll be on your way to having a homemade Mickey’s Burger! 🍔

Folks, we made it to the podium in every category we were up for! 🥈🥉

It was a big honor to be a finalist in 5️⃣ different categories, and to be recognized with top 3 finish for all of them is totally incredible! We know that there’s a lot of great burgers & fries in the region, so to be recognized as one of the top destinations for both of those staple items is a dream come true for this little roadside stand! 🍔🍟

Big shout to K and all the whole team, who’ve worked so hard day after day, year after year. And of course, a HUGE THANK YOU to all of YOU! We obviously wouldn’t have made it here without your votes, but more importantly, we wouldn’t be where we’re at without you spreading the word about Mickey’s! We are super grateful for this opportunity, and we cannot thank you enough 💙🩵

Congratulations to all the other winners and finalists in all the categories, including our pals at Half Moon Rondout Cafe with the best donuts and The Meat Wagon as a top 2 butcher (number 1 in our hearts, of course 🩵)

Summer is in full swing! 🍓🍒And we’ve got just the bevvy to cool you down ahead of this major heat wave! 🥤

Farm fresh cherries and strawberries with a big squeeze of lime make up the Summer Slushie 2.0! From the farmer’s market to your cup, only real ingredients in our slushies at the Igloo! Add an ice cream topper to transform it into the ultimate sweet treat!

Unfortunately our oat milk soft serve shipment is stuck at the Fedex warehouse in Montgomery until tomorrow, so we are sadly sold out of oat milk until it arrives. We do have some plant-based sweet treats (such as this slushie & shaved ice), but no plant-based ice cream until the shipment arrives 😢 It will be our biggest order ever of the oat milk, so we’ll have it all through the heat wave 🔥

And we’ll make a proper post this week, but we will be CLOSED on July 4th! The staff works hard every single day of the summer, July 4th is the one day where we all have off to have summer fun with our friends & families 🇺🇸

Let’s break down our Pimento Cheese Burger! 🧀

Introduced as one of our rotating burgers/sandwiches last season, this was the most requested menu item to make a return to the main menu! 🍔

We’ve been asked if this is a true “southern pimento cheese”, and the truthfully, none of us have ever had pimento cheese south of Delaware Ave (shout out to Sorry, Charlie 🔥). So we don’t know what a true southern pimento cheese tastes like, but we do know that this one rocks!

Ours is rich & delicious cheddar + cream cheese spread, plus a little sweet heat with the combination of minced pimento peppers and a touch of minced jalapeños! It won’t blow the roof off, but it is a touch spicy.

To add a little balance to the burger, we use housemade pickles & pickled red onions, each made with recipes handed down through the years. No electric green store bought crinkle cut pickles here! 🥒 Add a little shredded lettuce for some crunch, and you’re good to go!

Using real watermelon, strawberries, and rhubarb (with some turbinado sugar, a pinch of salt, and a splash of lemon & lime juice), this refreshing drink is sure to cool you down on this long hot weekend!
