Important things!

1. We have a TON of fresh Brubaker Produce. I ordered a bunch of extra for you for the weekend. Please come getcha some!!!

2. Judy from A Woman Sconed will be here today to make sure you have plenty of vegan, gf goodies for your gathering.

3. We will be open at the store this Saturday for market purchases only. No cafe, but we will have some grab and go available in case you are peckish.

4. We will be at the Kokomo Farmers Market Saturday, and I’ll be cooking a few things there.

5. We are officially out of green tomatoes for the moment. We’ll get more later, but we need a green tomato break. 😬

6. Right now, the plan is to be closed Monday so we can all get a little extra relaxation and family time.

7. Protip: buy two cookies, ask for ice cream. We’ll make you a sandwich.

8. You’re the best so today the cookies are FREE when you buy lunch.

All these years in and I still get nervous every time we release a new menu.

Did I hit it right? Are the seasonal flavors there? Did I get a good balance of vegan, vegetarian, and carnivore menu items? Are there enough gluten-free options? Is it a menu Lauren and I can prep and execute without driving ourselves crazy? And most importantly, of course: will you guys even like it?

Yesterday, all of those questions were answered with a resounding yes.

Thank you much for all the new menu love this time and all the times before. We do all of this for you, and it is so rewarding when your support and appreciation is so loud and clear.

We are back at it again today, and yes, we do still have our Blackberry Bacon Burger and the Southern Fried Grilled Cheese. And I got the Tomato Pie done. 😉
