HELP! We've got cattle on the golf course. They broke through the fence. I'm guessing they're from the Brgoch cattle, not the Morgan cattle, based on where they broke the fence, but don't know for sure. They are on the greens. I've been sick and I cannot rope cattle! I need someone to tell me who the owners are and how to contact them. Maybe call Wildlife Management?

The Grandote Steakhouse at the clubhouse is open on Sundays from noon to 6 pm for Sports Sundays from today, December 1, 2024 through Superbowl Sunday. Big screen tv's, games, cards, delicious hamburgers and fries available.

Don't forget, Fathers Day is crawfish and lobster and shrimp boil (if we have enough signups) from 2 pm to 5 pm. The cost is $30 per person, and if you want a whole lobster, add $32. We'll also serve hushpuppies and corn, sausage, potatoes, onions, etc. The deadline to get your reservation in, is Saturday June 8. EMAIL RESERVATIONS TO [email protected] or call 719-999-7529.

Tonight's special (late posting as always!) is 1/2 rack of ribs, corn on the cob, fried potatoes with onions and jalapenos, and rolls. Dessert is a deep chocolate brownie. (PS: best fried potatoes, onions and jalapenos I've ever had)

Tomorrow and Sunday, we are doing a repeat of the smoked brisket, same sides as last time, $25.

QUICK UPDATE FOR LATEST GRANDOTE PEAKS GOLF COURSE NEWS

Everything is open this weekend - the course, the restaurant, the pizzeria. The weather is gorgeous. Lots of tee times available. The lodge is open and available. The RV Park has spots available. Contact Arleigh at 719-999-7529 to reserve a spot. AirBnb is the cheapest way to reserve the lodge. Look for "Grandote Lodge."

We've added another cook to our roster and are interviewing a head chef today. Come on out for dinner tonight and take 10% off the entire meal (but not alcohol).

We've hired a baker who is baking up all sorts of good stuff - everything is made from scratch. Grab the cinnamon rolls at the proshop.

We've staffed up for the season and are selling memberships. Contact Travis Wolf for membership information at 719-999-7529.

The Classic Car Adventure is on Sunday at the Events Center, May 19, 2024 at 12 noon. 60 classic cars. It's free to come and look!

Remember to make a reservation for Father's Day Crawfish/Lobster Boil on June 16th. Food is from 2 pm to 6 pm, but the festivities start at noon. More info to come, but use OpenTable to book your spot. If you can't get a spot, then call us.

Mothers Day Luncheon at Grandote Peaks looks like this so far. Still have more food coming out of the ovens. Mothers Day Luncheon from 2 pm to 6 pm, but get here at 3 pm because the smoker is still smoking.

The Grandote Pizzeria will stay open until 6 pm but the clubhouse and steakhouse have no electricity. The events center and lodge do have electricity.

You all know that Grandote bakes our yeast rolls from scratch for dinner, and our submarine rolls for lunch, but now we are serving cinnamon rolls for breakfast. When I say from scratch, that doesn't mean frozen from a bag! Completely homemade and more items coming soon and baked fresh every week. The rolls are more popular than the prime rib!

We are open for golf 7 days a week, steakhouse Tuesday - Saturday from 11 am to 8 pm, and the Pizzeria is open 11 to 4 until Memorial Day Weekend.

Saturdays will usually be prime rib night. The new menu will be out soon, and the new chef will be here by May 28th.

We still need the following employees: sous chef and prep cook, dishwashers, event staff, and bartenders.
