Blueberries are in!! Thankyou Nikia Young Adams for picking us so many yummy blueberries to use now and freeze so we can make syrups and sauces all year!

Our blueberry salad this season is with cucumber, red onion, radish, dried cranberries, goat cheese, toasted almonds and a shiso vinaigrette. Shiso is an herb in the mint family that I’m growing for the first time in my garden. It’s got a lot of different flavors going on like basil, licorice, cinnamon and cilantro. It pairs beautifully with blueberries so come on in and try something new and farm fresh!

Happy Fourth of July Weekend!! One totally new sandwich & one OG from last year!

New Asian Mushroom:
Thanks to Dunks Mushroom Products & Foraging LLC for always supplying the best mushrooms! We're getting fresh scallions from Forsyth Family Farm so we cut them up and pour over a ginger soy brine to make the relish. Chili crisp is made using the solids from our hot sauce and pickled carrots with carrots from Brookford Farm. And lastly, new for me is a shiso aioli! Im growing shiso in the garden this year, it's a Japanese herb in the mint family but has a hint of basil, citrus & cinnamon to it.

Canal St Block Parties start tonight! From 5-9 pm, Canal street will be closed to pedestrians for some live music. Everway will be performing 90s and 00s alternative classics. We are now officially allowed to sell alcohol to take outside thanks to the new social district. So swing on by, grab some food and some drinks, and enjoy the music!!
