“Hi, I'm Ashley. I'm 35 years old.
On September 19, 2022, I finally got tired of breaking promises to myself.
I weighed somewhere between 255 and 265 pounds, but the number on the scale wasn't the biggest problem. I wasn't taking care of myself physically, mentally, or spiritually. I knew something had to change.
It started with one decision.
Then I started buying my meals prepared from my local Clean Eatz. There was no perfect plan. Just one decision to stop quitting on myself. Since then, taking care of my health has become a non-negotiable. I lift weights because I love what it does for me. I eat to fuel my body instead of punish it. Some days I still struggle. Some days I overthink. Some days I don't get it right. But I don't walk away anymore.
Over the last few years I've been overweight, I've under-fueled, I've chased the scale, l've learned, I've failed, and I've had to humble myself more times than I can count. Every season taught me something. Today I'm healthier than I've ever been because I keep showing up.
In the grand scheme of things, this journey has never really been about losing weight. It's been about becoming someone I can trust.”
