I am very sorry to have to make this post but I have had to make the terribly difficult decision to close Little China. I bought Little China on January 3, 2023. My husband passed away December 9, 2022. I was in the process of buying the restaurant when he unexpectedly passed away. I should not have proceeded through with the purchase but I had really hoped I could learn/work the restaurant and still be home with my kids, biological and foster. I’ve tried, oh boy have I tried. But- I’m tired. I can’t keep up. I have to focus on my family and be home to be the only parent they have left. I know this shouldn’t be personal- but, it’s honest. I tried. I failed- as a business owner, as an employer, as a follower to someone who worked so hard to start this business over 25 years ago. This decision did not come easy. But- it’s necessary. I must focus on my health, and my family and their well being. The business is for sale and I can only hope that someone will be interested in continuing a business in Lakeview. The community is wonderful and I appreciate all the loyal customers who continued to support us- daily, weekly, monthly, whenever it was. I TRULY appreciate it.
