🎅🎄Santa's Coming to Town next Saturday at Beer Engine!! Just in time for Summer Vacation, Santa decided to visit beautiful Lakewood, OH and has to stop at Beer Engine in Celebration of Christmas in July. We will be featuring Great Lakes Brewing Company Christmas Ale, Fat Head's Brewery Holly Jolly, Thirsty Dog Brewing Co. Twelve Dogs of Christmas, Columbus Brewing Company Tracksuit Santa, and Flensburger Winterbock. Each batch is a fresh as they get, we didn't stash anything from last year. We will also be featuring two new menu items for the occasion. The Hans-Gruber Schnitzel Sliders is our house made Schnitzel topped with Swiss Cheese, Grilled Apples, Sauteed Onions and topped with a sticky sauce. We also have a wing sauce as well the Sticky Bandits Sticky Sauce made with Fat Head's Brewery Holly Jolly. Both of these are limited time only, and only available during Christmas in July!🎅🎄

Our Second Fresh Beer Friday Post will make a lot of you fruit beer drinkers very very very happy! After another vacation (she has had more than enough this year) Micheline aka Cherry Chouffe is back and ready for all of you to enjoy again. We would love to thank Chouffe and Cavalier Distributing for making this happen as quickly as possible! This go around we stocked up so hopefully Micheline will want to stay at Beer Engine for a more lengthy visit.

We have some FRESH BEER FRIDAY ALERTS: Ohio Road Trip Passport Edition (We have a second post coming shortly)! There are THREE new beers hitting the passport today, 2 from breweries that just kicked the first keg, and one brand new edition to the tour. The first up is from Inside the Five Brewing Company and their flagship Hazy IPA The Devil Wears Hoodies. This super juicy IPA is perfectly smooth, little bitter, almost like the hops were squeezed and deflated (like a certain coach and QB in a super bowl)! The next is from our friends to the south Branch & Bone Artisan Ales with DDH Dream Wax IPA. Now this one isn't your standard hazy, loaded with Oats and Lactose for a super smooth finish and dry hopped twice with Citra and Nelson Sauvin this is a can't miss beer. For the final addition we have, making their Beer Engine debut 8th Day Brewing Co. with Two Frenchies Hibiscus Saison!! We here at Beer Engine typically don't carry this style, but after sampling it, our staff decided this is a must for the passport. We look forward to all of you trying this fine selection of suds!

The weekend is on the horizon, well sort of if this smoke clears by then. By that point, hopefully your brunch plans will be decided, and we hope they include Beer Engine! 🎄🍻We are one week away from the start of the most wonderful time of the summer!!! Beer Engine's Christmas in July kicks off next Thursday evening with the tapping of Thirsty Dog Brewing Co. Twelve Dogs of Christmas along with Fat Head's Brewery Holly Jolly! Since it's a Thursday that means both beers will be part of extended Happy Hour from 6 to 10PM as well. We can't wait to start the festivities next Thursday! (and also drink the beers) Did we also mention these are fresh batches brewed just a couple weeks ago!

We have a hump day FRESH BEER ALERT, and this one actually comes from our August Brewery of the Month! When the weather is this warm a nice, refreshing pilsner is what the doctor ordered. They also say an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Whatever way you look at it Market Garden Brewery BAP (Big Apple Pilsner) is the perfect beer for this scorcher of a day!

We are just at the halfway part of July and Land-Grant Brewing Company has been killing it as Brewery of the Month!! Now we can let the beer out of the case for August's Brewery of the Month. We are beyond excited to announce that Market Garden Brewery will be taking the reins starting August 1st and that the thing we did a few weeks back will be ready to go as well! We will be releasing details on which beers and the date for their Happy Hour later this week, so stay tuned!

💥☀️It's going to be a scorcher today!!! If you need a well-deserved break from the heat, come on down to Beer Engine, where the beer is kept ice cold and the cocktails are iced down as well! Try either a Land-Grant Brewing Company & Beer Engine collab beer Death By A Thousand Hops, Branch & Bone Artisan Ales has their Passionfruit Gose as well which is defiantly a thirst quencher, or one of our hand-crafted cocktails. Whatever you chose, make sure your cool down is from Beer Engine!

With the weather getting a little toasty this week we would love to remind you our ❄️AC❄️ is on and the drinks are well chilled to perfection! We have specials all week to help cool you off and won't burn a hole through your pocket either! Tuesday is our Taco and Margarita Specials, Wednesday is Half-Off Whiskey and Wine, and Thursday is our extended Happy Hour! All specials start at 6pm, which gives you plenty of time to get home from work and then to Beer Engine!

We are one week away from our new friends Oncore Brewing coming in and pouring their suds for each and every one of you! We will be bringing in four of their beers and they will be bringing some fun swag to hand out as well! Oncore Brewing is a western Ohio brewery in beautiful Swanton, OH and they are known for some unique twists on traditional styles of beer. We will be pouring the following:
Intentional scrum New Zealand style Pilsner
Coffee, Stills, and Mash Blonde Ale with Coffee, Chocolate, & Vanilla
Blood Orange 3-Phase Blood Orange Wheat
Busta Limes Margarita Shandy
We can't wait for all of you to try this phenomenal brewery!
