Today we experienced our favorite part of being a small business....the connections.

As many of you know we were away on vacation last week and today was the first day the storefront was opened back up. First thing this morning we had one of our regulars stop by STRAIGHT from leaving the hospital to get herself a post delivery treat and to show us pictures of the baby. Then, another set of regulars came in and waved a new shiny something at us- they GOT ENGAGED while we were gone.

Are there people that stop by, get what they need and limit conversation? Sure. We respect that.
But to our regulars, who we share life's joys and hardships...the ones we know by name and by order...you make it all worth it. We will always appreciate the connections that have formed as a result of The Urban Farmhouse.

As a child I loved that my grandparents had raspberry bushes. We'd go out back and pick them-one for my belly, one for the bowl is how I remember it. My grandmother would make the most delicious black raspberry custard-something the heart could never forget. Bad news first....you guys did us in today and we are sold out for the WEEKEND! (Closed 6/27 except for custom order pickups).
