Let’s be honest..sometimes the notes on the bag don’t always line up with our cup. This can happen for a number of reasons which we won’t get into right now.

However, “Green Apple and Cocoa” are pretty spot on with this coffee. Even though the first note is green apple, I wouldn’t call this an overly fruity coffee because the cocoa really balances it out.

Great for drip and also great for espresso if you want to mix it up.

Our 2025 Christmas RED LABEL Coffee is here! Last year we started a tradition of selecting our BEST coffee of the year to be to be our Christmas Morning Red Label coffee. The idea was simple. Christmas morning is magical, so why not commemorate it with an extra special coffee?

This year we are honored to release Fabio Caballero’s Geisha #2. Hailing from La Paz, Honduras- We met Fabio in Brooklyn, this fall, while he was touring around the U.S showcasing his Cup Of Excellence WINNING Geisha. This lot is a sister lot to the winner and provides a stunning coffee at a very good value. In the cup you will taste juicy ripe blackberry and slight florals. It’s not subtle.

Each year, when the RED LABEL coffee arrives I’m always nervous to taste it. Will the coffee meet THE standard? As I finished the first cup, I told my wife- “That’s the best cup I’ve had all year”.

We only have FIFTY 5oz tubes of this coffee AVAILABLE. They must be ordered by this Wednesday night so they can ship out Thursday morning. Available now on our website!

A few NEW fall coffee releases accompanied by their BREW GUIDES! Both coffees are very lightly roasted so that there aren’t any roasty notes present. This also helps to maximize flavor clarity, while balancing the acidity out with some “jamminess”.

NEW RELEASE

Ethiopia Tagel Hambella is now available on our website!

This year we wanted to improve our selection of coffees coming out of Ethiopia. In the past, it has been hard to find lots to purchase directly from a producer. Thanks to the hard work of some expert coffee hunters and their ability to spot an exquisite coffee, we were able to land this beauty.

This coffee is fruity/floral with some cool minty undertones that are pretty unique!

For your convenience, online orders can be picked up, 24/7 at the roastery via a door code.

Releasing Colombia El Encanto Geisha!

Super juicy, and a little tropical.

The story of this coffee resembles your childhood fishing trip. No matter how hard you try, you keep catching the same fish.

Every spring, we cup a litany of Colombian samples, blind, and no matter how hard we try, we seem to end up with El Encanto. Even when it tastes different and we think it’s an original. . We’re taking it home with us again and we are proud of it.

New Big Bags have arrived! We finally made it through our O.G big bags and although we will miss those crinkly mothers, we are onto brighter days.

My brother and designer as always, took the lead with the design and we just said 🫡. 400 moonlit nights later, or so, he turned up with something that looks like the Golden Arches- and we couldn’t be happier.

There’s nothing more to say but we figured we would snap some pics to share and tell him thanks for the good and hard work!

We’re truly grateful for all of the new partnerships that have been forged recently, as well as those on the horizon! With that being said, we will no longer be open on Tuesday mornings, so we can allocate more time to our wholesale business. We will continue to be open on Thursday mornings from 8-11. You can order beans on our website have them shipped to your house, or order for pickup any day of the week at the roastery!

We got a little excited when we were selecting our 2025 Burundi lineup (back in the fall) and we decided to buy four of ‘em. Rather than fire our green buyer (oh wait..), we couldn’t be happier with our caffeine-high decision making, because the coffee is rolling in and it’s tasting on point.

In all seriousness, we actually just really like this origin because the coffee is unique, affordable, and we’ve seen a trend that many times they end up being our most popular coffees.

We have the first two available now (we’ll spotlight the 2nd one another time) and the other two missed the bus from Burundi so they will arrive at a later date.

This first of the bunch is a new one for us, Burundi Bavyeyi. I really don’t like nerding out over the notes on here but I do like to give an accurate expectation of the coffee. I’d describe it as intense, citrusy, and round. We’ve already received strong feedback on the coffee and we’re very happy with it.

This is getting long but we also renovated our brew guides so that you don’t waste half your bag before you get it tasting right. Check them out on our website or by scanning the QR code on your bag!

Happy Spring Equinox! Coming SOON in April:

Paper Route has a new sibling. The parents over thought the name a bit, it happens, and named it Equinox. 😜

This new blend is what we call a “darker roast”. It isn’t dripping with oil dark, but it has enough oomph and roastiness to power through those big milk drinks such as lattes and cappuccinos.

While Paper Route is a jack-of-all-trades coffee, Equinox will be more of a one-trick-pony. (Although it’ll make a killer dark roast drip coffee if that’s your jam).

We hope this new blend rounds out our coffee lineup so that we can serve you better!
