CRISP Chik’n has built a following in Lansdowne by doing one thing well. Chicken.

The menu stays tight. Crispy sandwiches, tenders, wings, and loaded fries. Flavors range from classic to Nashville hot to Korean BBQ. Orders move fast. Food comes out hot and consistent.

It feels familiar, but with more variety and a local edge. The “Delco” sandwich on a pretzel bun leans into that identity.

This is not a sit-down destination. It is a quick, reliable stop that people return to week after week.

Four Delaware County restaurants are getting some well-deserved recognition.

These four Delco spots made Philadelphia Magazine's Best of Philly food listwith dishes and concepts that stood out across the region.

At Wilson’s Secret Sauce Bbq in Upper Darby, the Seabrisket earned honors for Best Surf and Turf. The sandwich piles house-smoked brisket and lobster onto a toasted roll with Cooper Sharp cheese.

Marple Public House in Broomall landed Best Nostalgia thanks to its Lunch Lady Sloppy Joe, a throwback favorite served with homemade pickles on a grilled potato bun.

Vittles Food Hall in Chester picked up Best Food Hall. The nonprofit space brings together seafood, diner comfort food, soul food, and more under one roof.

And CRISP Chik’n in Lansdowne earned Best Alternative to Chick-fil-A with a menu built around crispy chicken sandwiches and classic sides.

Delaware County’s food scene keeps gaining attention across the region. From Upper Darby to Chester, these local kitchens prove great food is never far from home.
