I (Dave) have been in Washington D.C. for the past several days. I was in town to attend the dedication of the Desert Storm/ Desert Shield Memorial. I fought in the first Gulf War and being there was very important to me.
I got to reunite with friends that I haven't seen in 35 years. We hugged, caught up and instantly were acting as if we were never apart. We chatted, joked, talked about friends that couldn't make the trip and remembered friends that didn't make it home. The best part was getting to share the event with my wife and son.
The whole trip made me realize just how lucky I am. I have a great family, great friends and a job I love. I have a great business partner and employees who made sure I could take the time away and we have the best customers anyone has a right to ask for. I look forward to getting back to see you all soon.
