To all our customers:
Carole and I (Tony) want to thank you for your support of the diner over the last 21 years and other Mijo’s restaurants starting all the way back in 1976.

We have made the decision to close the doors permanently. This was a difficult choice, but we believe it was the right decision given both the current situation and thinking about the future for Carole and myself.

We hope you all continue to support other local businesses. We wish you all good health and thank you all for the memories.

Hello everyone,

As we wait for the Governor's press conference stopping all dine-in activities we are prepping to still be open starting tomorrow, March 17th.

We will follow the directions of the mandate and continue to operate as a take-out/delivery only establishment until we are allowed to resume normal operation.

We are partnered with WWW.DELIVERY.COM and will soon be partnered with grubhub.

We will also be available via Phone call takeout at (517)886-0406.

We believe at this time that 5 people will be allowed in the building to pick up their orders as long they remain 6 feet apart.
We will follow this guideline and ask that you help us keep everyone as safe as possible in these difficult times.

Our hours will change and we will soon post them on all of our listings we can.

From the bottom of our hearts we hope to get through this with all of you and ask that you support as many local businesses as you can!

Good Morning Mijo's Diner Customers,

We wanted to take the time to address the Coronavirus situation and what we are doing to keep our staff and customers safe.

1. Will be requiring additional hand cleaning from all staff members in between servicing tables
2. Will be doing additional deep cleaning in dining room multiple times a week
3. We will ensure any staff members with flu like symptoms will remain at home during this time to minimize potential spread
4. We will be installing a sanitizer dispenser at the front door as soon as it arrives.
5. We will continue to gather your feedback and make necessary changes to make you feel safe and welcome while you are at Mijo's.

To still service many who choose to stay at home and practice social distancing, we have partnered with www.delivery.com during our normal business hours to allow for delivery to your home, at your convenience.

We hope that our efforts show our commitment to your safety and health while still offering you the best breakfast in Lansing!

Finally have some good news to post. Tomorrow morning, August 15th, we will be reopen and continue normal business hours for the foreseeable future. It has been a tough road back these 10 days but we are ready to serve you to the best of our ability again. To all of our past/present and future patrons thank you for your support through the years!

Last Sunday we experienced a major electrical malfunction. We are working as best we can to repair the malfunction but it may take some time. As a result, we will be closed until further notice. When we are ready to reopen I will post to our page when that will be. We hope to be reopen as soon as possible but due to the extent of the electrical damage we do not have a timetable as to when we will be back up and running again. As always, thank you for your continued patronage and we hope to see you soon.
