Such a great turnout for the Michigan Writers Meetup - today we are going to focus on writing sprints to get some words on page and hopefully set up a critique exchange for next week ✍️

The Chengdu Earl Grey cuppas have been a big hit and we might make it a more consistent menu offering - and we’ve even had folks showing up in full ST:TNG gear! 🖖

The apple chai scones from Elizabeth Kruger were such a hit! We will be offering them at the teahouse soon 😋

This weekend come out to Chengdu Teahouse for a cuppa Chengdu Earl Grey (black tea + bergamot + Sichuan peppercorn) and celebrate one of Starfleet’s most beloved captains 🖖

Every week the Michigan Writers Meet-Up brings new inspiration. Last week we were inspired to create a Poetry-Music Performance and will be announcing the call for poets and musicians soon (initial meeting on Nov 5th)

Excited to see what the writers produce this afternoon at the Michigan Writers meetup at 2pm —> this is a free event open to the public and does not require Michigan Writers membership.

Due to popular demand we’ve also got the apple blossom + green tea on tap today so swing by with your writing ✍️ or a good book and grab a cuppa and enjoy 😊

Absolutely loved listening to the author reading of A House of Perfect Safety - it was an honor to host her book launch with Dancing Star Press 📖

Also it was the perfect opportunity to enjoy some apple blossom + green tea 🍎

Chilled hibiscus tea is a fantastic way to stay hydrated in these insanely hot temps - you can add rosebuds for some natural sweetness or fresh lime juice for a citrus kick 🌺
