We talked to our AC guy tonight about several ideas to cool it down in the building. The immediate fix is foiling the windows on the east side. So tonight we went and did that. We took a friend along for the adventure even. ☺️ The building is still sitting about 82* inside at 11pm. Hopefully keeping out the morning sun will help it stay cooler in there this weekend. We had some close calls with health today. So, if you pull up and see most of the windows covered in foil, we are still open if the sign is on. It looks a little redneck, sorry about that. Gotta do what ya gotta do! Have a safe, fun, and happy Larimore Days everyone!

We WILL be open tomorrow, Tuesday, July 14.

We are, however, going to open a bit differently in hopes of keeping it cooler in there for everyone in the kitchen. We will be doing TAKE OUT ORDERS ONLY. No inside seating. This will allow us extra fans and things to help keep the kitchen cooler and will cut down on extra body heat and movement in the building as well as so many people leaving the door open while they sit down. It will also allow the staff to wear cooler clothing so they stay more comfortable. We are going to see how it goes. If it gets too hot still, we will close OR we will close for a few hours and open back up for supper. It's going to be trial and error as we see what works best and how hot it gets in there. We want to be back open, especially since it's Larimore Days week.
So....
Open Tuesday at 11am
No inside seating.
Take out only.
You can call in your order or come in and place your order. You can come in to pick up and pay.
Hours will be trial and error but we're shooting for 11-8.
Updates will be given when decisions are made.

I had planned to try to open for a few hours on Sunday just to give people a place to eat. However, I just saw the forecast. It's going to be worse Sunday. These forecasted temps mean that behind the grill would be in the 140-150* range. I think we can all agree that is not sustainable for anyone regardless of age or medical issue. So, we will *try* on Monday, even though we are usually closed Mondays.

Please keep yourself hydrated. Please stay inside if you can. Please check on your loved ones, especially those that are older or medically fragile. Let's make sure we all make it out on the other side of this heat dome.
