Hi friends! 👋
For those of you who are new here, I wanted to introduce myself.
I’m Marie—a wife, mom of four, dog mom of three, and a registered nurse. I spent most of my nursing career in the ER, and while I still work as a nurse, I’m slowly transitioning into growing Tallow & Tea full-time.
My husband was born and raised in Little Chute, and while I’m originally from the U.P. (Ishpeming, Michigan)—yes, I’m a Yooper! 😊—I moved here when I was four(?)🤔. Little Chute has been home for most of my life, and now our four kids are growing up here too, which makes opening our storefront here even more special.
If you asked my family, they’d probably tell you I apparently thrive on chaos. 😅 Always have… and unfortunately, I don’t think that’s ever going to change. My mind never stops. I’m always learning, asking questions, taking another course, looking for a better way to do something… or deciding to demolish another part of our house before I’ve finished the last project.
Whether it’s nutrition, women’s health, herbalism, or wellness, I genuinely love learning—and even more than that, I love sharing what I learn with others.
One thing that has never changed throughout my nursing career is my passion for education. Helping people understand their health has always been my favorite part of nursing. These days, that passion has simply taken a different path. Instead of only caring for people once they’re sick or injured, I’m passionate about helping people support their health every day.
I believe there’s something special about getting back to our roots and rediscovering the gifts this beautiful earth has to offer. From nourishing foods to herbs and plants that have been used for generations, there’s so much wisdom worth learning from. My goal isn’t to replace modern medicine—it’s to help people understand simple, thoughtful ways to support their bodies and complement their overall health.
What started as making cleaner products for my own family has grown into Tallow & Tea. After closing my IV therapy business, I decided to put both feet into this dream—creating thoughtfully made skincare, herbal teas, salves, and other wellness products, with so much more still to come.
This fall, we’ll be opening our storefront in downtown Little Chute, and I truly hope it becomes more than just a place to shop. My vision is to create a welcoming space where people can ask questions, learn, discover simple ways to support their health, and feel like they’re part of a community. I don’t pretend to have all the answers, but I promise I’ll never stop learning and doing my best to help you find them.
Thank you for being here and supporting this dream. I can’t wait to meet so many of you in person. 🤍
