Generations Jazz Night returns this Friday, May 8th at Kickstart Kafe, featuring Smooth Riders — the best jazz in town.

This special night brings together musicians across generations, with players signing up in person before 7 PM for a chance to sit in with the band after the first set. We’ve witnessed some incredible surprise performances — you never know who might show up… or it might be you this time.

Pizza, beer, wine, and sake start at 5:30 PM.
Music begins at 7:00 PM.

This Sunday, April 26th, Kickstart Kafe welcomes Turquoise Trail Baroque for an afternoon concert of baroque music. Turquoise Trail Baroque is a Santa Fe based period instrument ensemble, playing on reproductions of instruments from the 17th and 18th centuries. The program will include works by Albinoni, Graupner, Graun, Lalande, and Purcell. The concert will begin at 2 p.m.

This Friday, April 17th, Kickstart Kafe welcomes High City Jazz for an evening of great live jazz. Based in Northern New Mexico, High City Jazz specializes in jazz standards, playing swinging straight-ahead jazz along with more freeform styles. And yes—our favorite Ralph Marquez will be on drums and Bruce Holmes on sax. Food and drink service begins at 5:30 PM, with music at 6:00 PM.
