Susan Davis Grippo, our kids will never get the same street smart education that helped shape us into successful entrepreneurs because, as parents, our mission is to give them everything we never had.
That also means I’m tougher on my kids than most. I’m trying to prepare them for the real world a world that’s not built on fairness, but on opportunity and capitalism.
The harder you work, the more you can achieve. The smarter you work, the more efficient and successful you’ll become.
My job isn’t to make life easy for my kids. My job is to prepare them to thrive without me one day.
