The historical Inn was known to be visited by several famous people including President Theodore Roosevelt.

Cynthia Brando is a Los Angeles "acoustic folk rock" singer songwriter. She has played notable shows at House of Blues in Hollywood, music festivals and at tours across the country. She has received multiple honorable mentions for her music in the Songdoor International Songwriting Competition and In 2017, she received an honorable mention in the American Songwriter magazine Lyric Contest. In 2019, American Songwriter Magazine gave Cynthia an honorable mention in their Bob Dylan cover song contest, which produced the viral video, "Things Have Changed."
