Family fun day. Food offerings were a combo of Cajun and Tropical cuisines. Huli Huli chicken; pineapple rice with red onion, dried cranberries and sliced almonds; smoked Pork Loin with Hawaiian BBQ sauce; Louie’s Dirty Rice; and, our take on Cajun pastalaya.
Fun aside, we recognize all our family and friends that served and paid the ultimate sacrifice so we can even celebrate a day like today. And also that came so long before including the many indigenous and freed slaves that do not get enough recognition.
