Drake Creek Golf Club is now under the direction of Footprint Golf LLC.
Ledbetter, Kentucky. Drake Creek Golf Club has been sold to Footprint Golf, LLC. Josh Noles, Footprint Golf President, assumes operations of the course effective March 16, 2024.
Drake Creek Golf Club has been owned and operated by Todd Butts (Butts Golf LLC) since June, 2005. Butts said, “After nearly 20 years of ownership, it’s time to leave the course in the hands of another good owner. Josh has done a terrific job as our superintendent and his dedication to the facility is unsurpassed. I am confident Josh will strive to maintain Drake Creek’s reputation as one of west Kentucky’s finest golf facilites.”
Butts will stay on staff as the PGA Director of Instruction and operate The PGA Learning Center at Drake Creek. He also plans to assist Noles as needed during the transition process.
Josh Noles, a Livingston County native, said, “I’m excited to take over Drake Creek Golf Club and continue the tradition of excellence established by Todd (Butts). He’s done an amazing job over the years. The Drake Creek staff and I are committed to maintaining the course’s reputation and providing the best possible course conditions and customer service. We have many exciting events planned and I’ll continue making course improvements in an effort to take the facility to the next level.”
