💕 It is with hearts filled and complete pride in choosing what’s right for our family at this time that we announce that we are officially closing Roots to Rise. While we took these past few months away from the business to explore potential opportunities, Eddie and I checked in daily with our feelings about closing an incredibly successful business. It is not easy. In fact, it’s like watching something you put so much time, energy, and effort into “fail”. But the more we explored this notion of failure, the more we realized that that is not at all what occurred. We succeeded. We created a community of individuals that understand the benefits and joy of truly nourishing themselves with a vegetable and fruit 🌈 . That felt the difference daily in how their bodies moved, responded, and delighted in local foods and produce. We gained a family in YOU.

While this may be a shock to some, it is a joy to us to know that we are in need of choosing time with our family and friends. For us, holding down two full time jobs, supporting 4 kiddos (big and small), and running our side dream business (that became a full time job) in Roots to Rise became quite a lot. It took time away from the people who count on us most in many cases; time we know we won’t always have as our kiddos age.

But the sadness is in losing those precious moments at markets, on the phone, or in email that we had with each of you. It’s in knowing how the revolution you undertook may end. So, we do not want to leave you without the nourishment you became accustomed to. In the next couple of months, I’m taking on writing a cookbook that will house each juice, soup, granola, mylk, etc. recipe you’ve come to love. You CAN make these beautiful, beneficial, and bountiful foods at home. Stay tuned loves, we will make every effort to keep you fueled.
