Unfortunately, we must reduce our hours for the time being due to the current political and economic situation which is having a substantial negative impact on our business as well as more establish food and other retailers.

Starting, Monday, July 27, we will be open Monday to Sunday from 2PM to 8PM.

Starting Monday, August 17, we will be open Saturdays and Sundays only, 2PM to 8PM.

I wish I had better news. Sometimes we must pull back and wait to surge ahead.

SPRING VALLEY DATA CENTER PARK: URGENT PLEA FOR ASSISTANCE IN THE FIGHT!

Approximately 360 acres which starts around Reservoir Road and goes to Greene Mill Preserve (west side of Evergreen Mills Road) is being proposed for a data center park with more than a dozen data centers. It is directly out our front entrance.

Data Centers produce energy, environmental, and Security Issues (we are a target).

I believe this is the first data center where our opposition will truly make a difference.

Over a decade ago, the BOS, changed zoning such that Data Centers were "BY RIGHT" meaning that they cannot be stopped in areas where they are permitted by zoning. Imagine the motivation for the BOS--our protectors--to have made that reckless decision not so very long ago.

Other data centers got through because the data center builder (and residential developers) PAID to have the zoning designation changed. That is happening this time as well. Not sure how this is legal!

In 2025, the current BOS voted to make the data centers a Major Special Exception. However, permit applications prior to February 2025 were grandfathered. Good News! This application was submitted in March 2025!

This hearing is on Thursday, July 23rd at 6PM. You may sign up to speak in person or over the phone (you are heard during the session).

This hearing is not just about ONE application, but rather SEVEN applications. The first two are rezoning requests & the last 5 are special exception requests: 1) Rezone TR-10 to IP; 2) Allow data center on this lot in newly rezoned IP Zoning; 3) allow this data center, itself, in IP Zoning (which cannot happen without the rezoning); 4) setback reduction; 5) allow battery storage; 5) separate data center equipment from residential; and, 7) 3 substations.

So, when making your comments, first argue against rezoning the map. Without a rezoning, the rest don't matter!
