Our internet and phone lines are down. Several other places are down so it must be an area wide breakdown. We are open but it may be cash only transactions. We are trying to use a cell phone for credit cards but that service is spotty.

Squirrel and rabbit season opens 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟯, statewide! 🐿️🐇

These hunts are an affordable way to spend time outdoors and introduce young people to hunting. Squirrel and rabbit hunting are relatively inexpensive and there are many LDWF public lands on which hunting opportunity is available.

Hunters 18 and older need a basic hunting license. If you’re heading to an LDWF Wildlife Management Area (WMA), remember that visitors 18 and older need a qualifying license or WMA Access Permit, and hunters must check in and out.

The season runs through 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳.
