Looking at our little spot here in Lewes, we can’t help but think about all the people who have made Mr. P’s what it is today. The familiar faces, the first-time visitors, the families, the friendships, and the generations who have pulled up a chair and shared a pizza with us.
To our longtime regulars: thank you for making us part of your routine. For having your favorite table, your usual order, and a kind word for our crew. You’ve supported us through busy summers, quiet winters, and everything in between, and we never take that loyalty for granted.
To everyone who makes us a stop on their beach vacation, brings visiting friends through our door, recommends us to a neighbor, or grabs a pizza on the way home: thank you. Every visit, every recommendation, every shared post, and every “you’ve got to try Mr. P’s” has helped keep this small business going for 27 years.
We know you have plenty of choices when it comes to where you eat and spend your hard-earned money. Choosing us means we get to keep doing what we love: making dough by hand, cooking wood-fired pizzas, pouring a good b**r, and taking care of the people who walk through our door. It also means we get to keep being part of this community we’re so grateful to call home.
And if you haven’t visited us yet, we’d love to meet you. Come in after the beach, bring someone you love, try something new, or settle in with a pizza and a local craft b**r. We hope your first visit becomes the first of many—and that before long, you’re one of those familiar faces we look forward to seeing.
