We would like to share we have not had any Hershey’s novelties this year that have been recalled.

We have also switched to Nestle’s ice cream sandwiches.

Major Ice Cream Recall!

Totally Cool, an Owings Mills, Maryland-based manufacturer of ice cream products, on Monday recalled all its ice cream products due to potential contamination of listeria monocytogenes, a bacterium that can cause serious infections.

60 products including ice cream cakes, sandwiches, and pints are affected by the recall.

Here are the 13 ice cream brands being recalled:

Abilyn’s Frozen Bakery
Hershey’s Ice Cream
Yelloh!
Jeni’s (ice cream sandwiches)
Cumberland Farms
The Frozen Farmer
Marco
ChipWich
AMAFruits

If your product's manufacture date is May 2024, a quick way to check if it's okay or not is the plant code on the package. It will read as 24-65, 24-0065, 2465, or 240065.
