We closed our business last year and have tried to remove our fb page several times but it hasn't happened yet so I'm reposting this from September. We miss all of our friends and family that were there for the 9 year ride. Enjoying our retirement in the great state of Tennessee! Love y'all!

And so it has come to be! Our ever faithful trailer "Rollin Smoke, is off to start a new life! Bittersweet for sure. We know her new owners will love her like we did!
Now that the smoke has cleared, it's time to concentrate on the next chapter! Thank you all for nine crazy years!

The end of an era of smokin and being silly!! Well, he's still silly!!
We said goodbye to Rollin' Smoke yesterday. 😪😪 She's gone to a good home where she'll be well taken care of.
Thank you for all the years of laughter and support from all of you out there!! We appreciate you all!!
On to retirement!!

We have set our sites on our last event as Fahrenheit 225, which is tomorrow, the 3rd, in Augusta. It's supposed to rain all day, and I guess the only thing to say about tomorrow's weather is F... it! We've dished out our Q at 30 below, 105 above, pouring rain and everything in between!
We have people coming to celebrate with us, and at the end of the day, that's all that matters! We will get our real deal barbecue out to the people like we've always done. Barbecue with no shortcuts as it's always been. I'm going to be smoking my last case of ribs today with my nephews help. Gonna be special. I asked a question of a food mentor some years ago. I asked him, "When it comes to ribs, when will you really know what you're doing?" His response was "Somewhere around 3,000 racks"! There was some truth to that response!
It's nice that our last event is a beer festival, but we totally understand that it's a ticketed event and not everyone would want to pay to get in, but If you make it to the Kennebec valley Brewfest tomorrow, even if you don't have a craving for Barbecue, please stop by and say hi anyway. Wrapping up this crazy ride tomorrow and we're proud to say that we got it done and then some!

A challenge? You betcha! Nobody has ever kept me on my toes like this young lady! Amanda doesn't let me get away with anything! Her quick wit challenges me at every turn, and she keeps Linda and I constantly laughing! And yes, they do gang up on me! Feel bad for me? Amanda was with us last year, and this year and has been invaluable at the window. Quick, smart, and a pleasure to deal with, she always comes through! I'm so glad she treats our customers better than she treats me! I have to be careful because we're neighbors!
Along with her boyfriend Ryan, they have been our team at the Great Falls brewfest the past two years! Thank you to both of you! You are great neighbors and friends!

This is Travis. He was our post covid sensation! He was with us for all of 2022. We couldn't have done it without him, as Congdons was rockin every night! He crushed it at the window every night for us, keeping it under control when I wasn't! We had an absolute blast working with him! We thank his mom for introducing us! Thanks Gwenny!!
