We're excited for this new venture and would like to thank you for your patience while we work out the kinks for the new location. Just like our shakes at Sweet Matriarch your shakes are handcrafted with Blue Bell Ice Cream. Your desserts, frostings, drizzles and whipped cream are made in house with fair trade chocolate and vanilla, cage free eggs, local flour, cane sugar and real butter. Things t

Where are we located? We are located in the beautiful Mall at Lexington Green complex. Once you arrive at the Lexington Green complex you'll come to the rear to find us lakeside between Comedy Off Broadway and Palmer's. Hours: As of now we are open the following days and hours and plan to expand both soon

Friday 1:00-9:00
Saturday 12:00-9:00
Sunday 12:00-8:00

Wait time: Each shake takes several minutes to make so please come mindful your wait could be five minutes or a hour and half or more. When you arrive our staff will be able to update you on the current wait time just as they would at any other restaurant offering a custom product. We work on five orders at a time and as we hand out an order a new order is taken. We have found over the past year and a half this is the most efficient process. Do we keep the mason jars? Unlike at Sweet Matriarch Bakery you DO NOT keep your mason jar at Cattywampus Station. If you are enjoying your shakes inside or on the complex grounds please return your jars once you finished your shakes. If you are taking your shakes TO GO they will come in a recyclable aluminum cup decorated just like the mason jars with your dessert on the top or on the side. Can we sit outside? You are welcome to enjoy the patio area lakeside but we do ask that you return your mason jars and trash to Cattywampus Station. It is a beautiful space and no one wants a sticky mess left everywhere. When will you start burgers? Our burger menu is up and running!

Hello everyone. I created a video but unfortunately it’s slow to load hopefully it’ll pop up soon. The plan when we closed for Winter was to reopen this Spring but life is pointing us in a different direction. I’m excited for what's to come and hope to see y'all soon. It will definitely include lots of sunshine and being outside! Oh and lots of time with my kids…. soccer, recitals, basketball, fishing without anyone missing those moments to cover the shop 💕

If you’ve got a dream go chase it. If that dream changes don't be afraid to close the door. Always remember to believe in yourself; I have struggled with that the most. You’ll have enough critics and judges to make you doubt every step. But thankfully you also have warriors too.

In case you missed the update on our webpage, at the shop and Google we will be closed for winter this year. We will be closed New Year’s Eve through March 16th. Our goal is to reopen early Spring. Preorder desserts, catering and private events are still available while the storefront is closed.

Our family has a lot of big changes coming up and closing for a few months works best for us. We hope you understand and thank y’all for supporting our family business, the feedback and sharing memories with us the past three years. See you soon.

Fun fact: Our family owns an old church and schoolhouse in my hometown. My great grandma who will be 96 in November went to school there! 😳Inside the schoolhouse there is an old chalkboard wall. To celebrate that history we always use chalkboard drawings or menu boards at each location. From the original Sweet Matriarch location to here at Cattywampus. What do you think?

Our Sweet Matriarch Bakery Showcase Boxes available for pre-order with pick-up this weekend and next. Take a bite out of how we got started. These boxes are a bit of a honoring as well because the bakery turned 10 this year! Watch for fall, cupcake and cookies boxes too.

Pick up at our Cattywampus Station restaurant inside at Lexington Green September 16-17 or September 23,24. PREORDER REQUIRED.

What better way to sample a bakery than a showcase box?! Our desserts crafted from family recipes creating all butter cakes, fillings and buttercreams made from scratch in house with pure vanilla, cage free eggs, local flour and real fruit. No boxes or mixes ever.
