It is with mixed emotions that I announce the closing of Calhoun's On The Green . Not too many years ago, I got the idea that I wanted to open an authentic Cajun food restaurant. After much encouragement from family and friends, and many prayers that this was the right decision. I felt this was something I had to do...
Although the journey was just a couple of years. The decision to open a restaurant was definitely the correct decision. Two wonderful years of serving the City of Liberty, surrounding communities, and the wonderful quest that traveled a distance to eat one of our delicious Cajun Entrées... You have been so much more than just a frequent guest; You've become a part of our extended family. From your favorite dishes to sharing stories at your regular table, the memories we’ve built together are something I will cherish forever. I want to thank the wonderful friends I've made... from the bottom of my heart for your unwavering support, friendship, and patronage. The relationships we've formed, I will cherish forever...
I would also like to say a Special Thank You, to the current and past employees that played a big part in the success of Calhoun's On The Green. This journey would have never happened without the dedication and passion of the staff I've had the opportunity to work with... Thank You!!!
We plan to remain open through Sunday, July 12th.
We would love the opportunity to serve you again and say goodbye in person. Please stop by before our final day to share one more meal and a few more laughs with us.
