Good Monday afternoon to all. After much consideration we have made the difficult decision to close the cafe on Mondays. This decision was made for many reason's, including but not limited to not enough business and the increasing cost of being in business. I believe in honesty and transparency and have seen this business thru for 30 plus years and in this time, we've survived the housing market crisis in 2009 and the Coronavirus pandemic, to name a couple. In our area of Northeast Lincoln, over the past 2 years, construction projects have riddled our area making it at times nearly impossible to even access us our surrounding businesses. Let me just say that the last 2 years we've considered the possibility that this business may not last but we keep hanging on. You may be thinking, Its so busy when I've been there so how can this be? I often wonder this myself, but here we are. I will NEVER start a go fund me page and beg our community for money. I will however ask that if you find value in this business as much as I and many in our community do, please support us as much as you are able. Times are quite scary for many people for many reasons and with affordability being at an all time low, (at least to the best of my memory), people are having to choose between fuel for transportation and their morning treat. We've been absorbing many increases in our coffee and food pricing from our suppliers and will continue to do so as long as we are able. We are also minimizing our team to help keep costs down so, we may not be as speedy as your favorite drive thru we trust that our quality is worth the wait, If you are in a time crunch you are able to place an online order for your preferred time of pick up. This is a vulnerable post for me and certainly not where I had expected to be 30 plus years in this industry. Thank you for your support!
