The earliest true cemetery ever found is from 8,500 years ago. A 50,000 year old Neanderthal skeleton discovered in a cave in France was intentionally buried. From a psychological, emotional and spiritual perspective merely switching memorials from cold, dark, granite, subterranean tombs and other hidden spaces to glass inspired art in open sunlight will have a transformative effect on our joint psyches and spiritual outlook. Just possibly, we no longer need to be powerless victims of our greatest existential fear and are ready to open our eyes and arise to our true magnificence. With Lumen Essence we envision the possibility of changing the face of the funeral industry and discussion about how who we are and the way we approach our lives understanding that our dearly departed are with us in Spirit. Maybe 50,000 years is long enough.
