We have delicious sandwiches, soups, salads, burgers, brats, fries, and homemade baked goods that feature fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from local farmers, as well as locally roasted coffees and the best of Arkansas b**r. We also host a range of activities from workshops, classes, and speakers to music events and art openings. Through food, education, and community, The Root Cafe is striving to make Little Rock a better place to live by helping to create a more just, sustainable, and delicious food system for central Arkansas.

Cactus and succulent lovers, REJOICE! We’re so excited to welcome back ChickenPaw Plantery to our SoMa location this coming 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟭𝟬/𝟭𝟬 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝟬𝗮𝗺 - 𝟭𝗽𝗺, for another plant pop-up! 🌿🪴🌵

Backed by more than a decade of training and knowledge, ChickenPaw Plantery was founded by plant lady, Kayla Butterfield, in September 2021. It began as an intended single plant show to clear some greenhouse space after her plant collection got a little out of hand.

Now nearly 5 years later, ChickenPaw Plantery has gained a reputation for the very best in artistically designed cactus/succulent arrangements, lush leafy plants, sound plant care advice, fun plant show themes, and engaging plant workshops!
