The next phase of the “eradicate Voldemort” project involves surgery. On Monday July 6 I will have a radical hysterectomy where all my lady parts will be removed, along with all other visible cancer. My highly experienced surgeon, who we are pretty fortunate to have in Bozeman, thinks I will do well with the recovery given my age and fitness level. Hoping he is right as I may not be great at having my wings clipped. I am working on embracing the suck.

Thank you to every single daisy donut customer who has followed and supported me this season. I am beyond grateful for your hugs, prayers, good wishes, purchases, and mostly that you show up. It means so much to me to see and feel your love and support. I would love to return the kindness some day.

Fingers crossed that I will be back in the baking apron soon and have donuts for you before the end of July.

If you missed the cardamom orange cake at the GVFM last week, your next chance to get it will be on Saturday July 4 when I will have limited quantities. Daisy donuts will not be at the market Saturday 6/27 but will be there on 7/4 because there is nothing like celebrating the 4th with sweet treats!

See you at the GVFM this Saturday, 6/20, from 9-12. I will have mini donuts, donut holes, berry muffins, and cardamom orange cakes, made with over 50% Montana produced ingredients.

I have not yet selected my head wrap but it will be festive in your honor!
