The dogs of Jackalope 2026, part 1. We're wrapping up week 2 today and the dogs have been SHOWING UP! And guess what...THEY'RE SO GOOD!! Pups of all shapes and sizes are always given the royal treatment at Jackalope...namely, they get a top notch Maddie McGee's Mountain Munchies treat made with real local meat. Keep 'em coming, friends! And thank you SO much for the warm welcome so far this season. We are reallllly feeling the love, and it has been such a joy seeing you all and serving up food we are proud of.

LION'S MANE MUSHROOM BANH MI. Yeah, you heard that right. Everyone's favorite cuddly-looking, brain-boosting, delicious mushroom has gotten the VIP treatment with a marinade of lemongrass, ginger, soy and friends, a nice hot roast and it's hanging out on locally-baked baguette with pickled root veg, tons of fresh herbs, some crispy cukes and a yummy AF sesame sriracha spread. Also, don't tell your one uncle who might make a big deal out of this, but it's totally vegan. Come on by the trailer, buy this plate from the tiny art shop, and recreate this beautiful photo yourself before you demolish "one of the best sandwiches you've ever had" (quote from someone who had one on Monday). (OK, it might actually be too windy for me to put the tiny art shop out today, but you get the gist) 11-3! Remember we're open Mon-Thurs!!

The forecast for this afternoon looks a little dreary, but we've got what you need to keep a smile on your face all day long. It's this. Moroccan kofta kebabs (ish) jam packed with fresh herbs, topped with an herby yogurt sauce and served over a beautiful fresh quinoa kale salad with preserved lemon dressing and a dreamy harissa potato salad. I totally meant for this to be strictly a lamb dish, but I know there are some lamb haters out there, so I made some beef kofta for you guys. You're welcome! Kofta=cozy. Come get it! 11-3

It's a brand new Jackalopin' week and guys, I am STOKED about this menu. Moroccan kofta kebabs (well...the skewers won't fit in the containers, so off-skewer kebabs) made with lamb (or beef...for the lamb haters), served with a harissa potato salad and preserved lemon quinoa kale, all to honor the glorious Moroccan tradition of salads, more salads and delicious grilled meat. Now let's talk about the LION'S MANE BANH MI. Yeah, I said it. Don't miss it. I've never been so excited about a sandwich. So much great stuff this week, locally-sourced as always. I'll see you on B and Lewis in the shiny airstream! Monday-Thursday, 11-3!

Phew! What a week it has been! Summer in Livingston is back, and it is such a joy to be a part of it. The beloved flanken ribs (marinated Korean-style, slow smoked, grilled and glazed with apple & flathead cherry bbq sauce, served over quinoa with bok choy kimchi and pickled cukes) have had an epic week. We have a few orders left for today, but they are probably going to sell out on the early side. Consider yourselves warned! Add some homemade Sichuan chili crisp if you're into spicy, mouth-numbing goodness. Let's all enjoy the sunshine today, and end this glorious week with a bang! Can't wait to see you all! 11-3, B and Lewis.

Now presenting...Holden's Snack! One of my favorite parts of my job, now that I'm a toddler parent, is sharing stories, experiences and plenty of laughs with fellow Livingston parents. I spent much of the off-season trying to come up with interesting, healthy and locally-inspired snacks that my kid would actually eat...and it got me thinking. Maybe I could share these, too! SO, I am super excited to present a new menu item: Holden's Snack! This will be a rotating selection of toddler-sized, homemade, no-sugar-added snacks, all tested and approved by a certain spunky 1.5 year old. Ingredients will be sourced locally when possible (duh), and, like all Jackalope food, will be real, whole foods whose names you can pronounce. I'm prepping this stuff anyways for my little guy, so why not share with your little one too! This is new territory, so the plan is to start small, and only at the trailer (no online ordering). A youngster does not have to be present to order, but please only get these for little kids. I'll be happy to provide a list of ingredients, and would love to hear from other parents who may have requests! Do you love it? Do you hate it? Let me know! And by the way, the first Holden's Snack is...whole wheat apple yogurt muffins! Happy snacking to your tiny foodies! --❤️ the Jackalopes

THE SUMMER SEASON IS HERE!
Hello, Friends! Happy June! Happy Jackalope Season! Happy day!!
We're back in the ole' tin can on B and Lewis, serving up some bangers and eagerly awaiting pleasant visits with all of our favorite two- and four-legged friends. We're starting with some old favorites (hellooooo Korean short ribs! Helloooooo roast beef & pesto sandwich!), alongside a delicious fresh power bowl and our favorite bok choy salad from our recent pop-ups.

I have been an extremely vocal mocker of spiralizers for years. I've thought more mean thoughts about these things (and zoodles!!!) than probably any other normal person out there. That said, I have also been harboring a secret desire to serve spiralized pickled veg on power bowls since the first power bowl I ever made. This off-season, as we stocked up our very own prep kitchen space(!!! More on that later!!!), I caved and bought one. Honestly...I couldn't be more thrilled with our first pickled spiral beets, and I can't wait to incorporate this new, fun as heck shape into so many things this summer! Which, by the way, starts tomorrow at 11!
