A little life update. 🤍

If you’ve noticed I’ve been a little quieter on here lately, it’s intentional.

I’ve been taking a much-needed creative break from social media and pouring that energy into the things that matter most—my work, growing in my craft, my family, and simply living life. Somewhere along the way it’s so easy to get caught up chasing numbers on a screen, and I realized I don’t want to miss real moments while trying to create content about them.

Photography has never been about algorithms for me. It’s about people, stories, and preserving moments that deserve to be remembered forever.

That being said… these were way too beautiful not to share. ✨ I had the opportunity to second shoot this gorgeous wedding alongside the incredibly talented Ashley Loren, and I absolutely fell in love with these quiet, timeless moments between these two.

Moving forward, I’m choosing to capture more, stress less, and enjoy this beautiful life I’m lucky enough to be a part of. I’ll always share the stories that inspire me—but I’m done letting numbers determine the joy I get from creating.

If your session took place between the last week of April through May 16th, your gallery will be delivered this week!

Smaller sessions will be sent out toward the beginning of the week, while weddings & elopements will be delivered closer to the weekend.

A little late getting these sneak peeks to the feed because summer busy season has been in full swing over here ✨ so many beautiful sessions and weddings waiting to be shared — but now it’s finally Dave & Brittney’s turn. 🤍

These two were married on May 24th at Brady Mountain, and even with the rain, the entire day felt so peaceful. There was never stress or frustration, just a room full of people focused on what truly mattered — celebrating two people choosing each other for life.

Brittney put so much thought into every little detail to make the day feel like an experience, not just a wedding, and you could feel that in every moment. From the rain falling outside to the dancing, laughter, and joy filling the room, it was one of those wedding days that reminds you exactly why this job is so special.

As a vendor, I truly couldn’t have asked for a sweeter couple or a more beautiful day to be part of. 🌧️✨ Their couples grand entrance to the pop song “Where Is My Husband” was such a fun moment, and they also played an almost Friends-themed photo dash with all of their guests that was an absolute blast. Brittney even planned photo prompts for guests to capture during the ceremony, creating such a unique and interactive experience for everyone there.

Some love stories just feel like home from the very beginning. 🤍

On May 9th, Jewel & her groom said “I do” surrounded by the people they love most — right in their front yard (because who says beautiful weddings only happen in backyards? 😉). And somehow they transformed their home into something that felt straight out of a vintage dream.

Every detail of this day carried intention. Jewel spent so much time handmaking her own floral arrangements and carefully thrifted vintage dishware to create a wedding that felt uniquely them. Nothing about this day felt copied or rushed — it was thoughtful, meaningful, and filled with so much heart.

But more than the beautiful decor, what stood out most was the love this family carries. Their love for each other, for their families, and for God shined through every single moment of the day in the most genuine way.

And somehow… their wedding photos might be even more stunning than their engagement photos, which I didn’t think was possible. ✨

Wishing these two a beautiful, blessed, and abundant marriage as they continue building their family home and step into this brand new chapter together. 🤍

Sam & Rachel brought me all the way from Tennessee to Mississippi to document their wedding day, and it ended up being one of those celebrations that quietly stays with you long after it’s over.

The day unfolded with a kind of intention that you could feel in every detail, not in a staged way, but in the way their story had clearly been woven into everything. Before Rachel walked down the aisle, a voice memo she had recorded for Sam was played for everyone there. It was simple, unique, and full of love, and it shifted the entire room into something softer and more emotional right from the start.

They also chose a handfasting ceremony, with cords wrapped as a symbol of the life they were choosing together. It was one of those moments that didn’t need much explanation — just two people stepping into something meaningful in a way that felt very them.

And then there were the lighter moments that balanced everything out. Rachel surprised Sam with a first look that involved the best man dressed in a wedding gown, and it turned into this burst of laughter that broke up all the nerves in the best way before the ceremony.

Even with rain moving in and out throughout the day, nothing about the energy ever shifted. If anything, it made everything feel a little more grounded — like the focus stayed exactly where it should be: on the people, the vows, and the quiet in-between moments.

With lots of bubbles, so many thoughtful details, and joy that radiated through every second, nothing — not even the rain — could take away from how special this day felt. Their happiness completely outshined the gloomy skies.

As an added bonus, this trip also gave me a little time to explore New Orleans in between, making this wedding weekend one I won’t forget anytime soon.

I’m beyond thankful I got to document the beginning of forever for these two, and these are only a handful of sneak peeks — there is so much more from this beautiful day still to come. ✨

The O’Conner wedding — Stacy & Evan 🤍

From the very beginning of my journey, you two believed in me — booking your wedding with me in my early days and trusting me to capture your love again and again through every season since. That kind of support is something I’ll never take lightly.

What started as clients turned into something so much more. You’ve become people I genuinely care about, people I laugh with, celebrate with, and now get to call friends. Watching your relationship grow this last year has been such a gift.

Your wedding day felt exactly like you — from margaritas flowing to the kind of dance floor that never slowed down. Every moment was full of life, laughter, and the kind of love that pulls everyone in around you.

I’m endlessly grateful our paths crossed. I’ll be cheering you on for a lifetime 🥂

I know I’ve been a little MIA lately compared to normal — life has been moving (literally 🤍). We finally got settled into our new apartment back in Cookeville after a long week & weekend of chaos, boxes, and very little sleep… but I’m officially finding my rhythm again.

And with the sunshine coming back and everything starting to bloom, it felt like the perfect time to kick things off with a little Spring Starter Flash Sale 🌼
