Surprise we had a Baby✨
We’ve been in a very intense season of life, when most people hear intense, they think bad, but intense doesn’t always mean that. For us, it means needing to fully focus on the things that matter, having all moments of the day occupied with something and needing to put intentionality into each aspect of our life. The priorities in our life have been getting coffee orders shipped out as fast as possible, all while still staying present with our young growing family. The business social media took a back seat as we focused on fulfilling orders, getting through morning sickness, enjoying pregnancy and birthing our fourth child. All while dealing with the frustration and inconvenience of the farms we source our coffee from having gone through drought and therefore having a harder time sourcing green coffee beans to roast, and shipped to you. Through that whole season instead of announcing our pregnancy we decided to simply announce baby once he made his arrival! So here he is! Baby boy, Reagan, born safely at home with just his mommy and daddy to welcome him earth side. And good news for you with the coffee, brighter days are ahead as we work on a contract with a supplier that will be able to get us bigger quantities of coffee at a time with the same qualities of being organic, ethically sourced, mold free, and a direct trade route from the farms. Thank you all for following our journey and supporting our small business through the purchase of coffee. And through spreading the word to coffee shops, and stores that we do wholesale! This next season is looking bright! ✨

📣 Yes — we’re still here, and we’re still roasting! ☕️❤️

It’s been a challenging season for us. The regions where we source our green coffee have had serious droughts, which made getting the coffee we need much harder and slower than usual. Thankfully, this year’s harvest is starting to come in — and we’ve just partnered with a new importer to bring in larger shipments so we can catch up.

Right now, we’re about 2 weeks behind schedule, mostly due to delays in green coffee shipments. We’re shipping out orders every day and doing our best to keep up, but we know some of you have been waiting longer — and we’re truly sorry for that.

Our goal has always been to ship out coffee the next day. At this time, that’s just not realistic — but we’re working hard to get back to that standard as soon as we can.

If you’ve emailed or messaged and haven’t heard back, please know we’re not ignoring you. We’re a two-person team, and right now it’s a choice between replying to every message or getting coffee out the door — and we’ve been choosing to roast and ship.

We’re so grateful for your patience, your kindness, and your continued support. Thank you for sticking with us during a tough season. We’re still here, and better days (and more coffee!) are ahead. ☕️

When working on a new coffee Origin or Blend, we brew it many different ways till we find the brew method that works the best with that particular coffee.

This afternoon was spent labeling and bagging 80 sample size of The Sunrise Blend, they are now heading to for the VIPs ☕️
Some of the coffee beans were still warm from the roaster as I bagged them.
