❤️💚 FROM ONE SMALL BUSINESS OWNER TO ANOTHER… WE SEE YOU! 🙏🏽
I wanted to share this story because so many people have absolutely NO IDEA what goes on behind the scenes of owning and operating a small business, especially in the food industry!
Reading this brought back so many emotions because I KNOW this struggle firsthand!
The financial sacrifices, the unexpected expenses, the sleepless nights, the disappointments, the landlords, the building issues, and the constant fight to keep something alive that you’ve poured your entire HEART into!
People see the food, the customers, and the social media posts, but they don’t see what it takes to keep those doors open. Sometimes you’re fighting battles that have absolutely NOTHING to do with cooking or serving food!
As the owner of It’s A Wrap Café, currently fighting to bring our own brick-and-mortar location to life, I understand this journey on a level that words can’t fully explain.
And one thing I’ve learned is that PASSION will make you START a business, but FAITH, PERSEVERANCE, and PURPOSE are what keep you going when everything around you says QUIT! 🙌🏽
To the owners of Kate’s Coffee, Tea & More, I’m sharing your story because I genuinely want to see you WIN! ❤️
I pray that God places the right people, opportunities, and resources in your path to help you secure a permanent home for your business!
There’s enough room for ALL OF US to succeed! Supporting another business takes absolutely NOTHING away from mine!
To everyone reading this, please remember that behind these small businesses are REAL PEOPLE, REAL FAMILIES, and REAL DREAMS!
SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES! SHARE THEIR STORIES! HELP THEM GROW!
Because sometimes that one share, one purchase, or one act of kindness can make a bigger difference than you’ll ever know!
From our kitchen to yours, we’re rooting for you! ❤️💚

Built on passion. Driven by purpose. Sustained by faith.
Kate's Coffee, Tea & More
When I closed Kate's Coffee in Bay City, I wasn't heartbroken.
I was relieved.
We had poured so much into that business, but we didn't own the building. Years of plumbing problems, roof leaks, AC failures, and unexpected closures had cost us thousands.
Then the building was sold, and I realized just how little control we had over the future of something we'd worked so hard to build.
I remember asking James if I could just close. He said yes.
Now, we've been given an extraordinary opportunity to purchase our buildings in West Columbia, giving Kate's a permanent home and room to bring The Magnolia Southern Kitchen to life.
I don't want to build something this special only to lose it because we don't own the ground beneath it.
We're looking for 5,000 people willing to contribute $99 each.
But even if you can't contribute, would you please SHARE this story? You never know who might see it and help make this possible.
