Can I tell you what a Rockstar Mama™️ she’s been? She’s been there sleeping in the new dad chair this whole week, while I’ve carted Emma back and forth and kept an eye on things. I know she’s exhausted, and I can’t wait to have everyone home!

My team has been amazing, too. They’ve held things down and not bothered me at all. I guess that’s when you know you’ve been doing things right. Thanks, guys and gals.

So many of you have asked how our sweet little Lennon is doing, so I thought I would post an update here. Her surgery was Tuesday and went extremely well. I cannot say enough amazing things about her surgeon and the entire team here (more about that later.) We spent Tuesday night and most of the day yesterday in the PICU, and she was able to get up and walk a few steps (amazing!) Wednesday evening we were transferred to a regular room, and we spent the day here today. She had a very rough day today which we were told to expect. Lots and lots of pain, but her care team has been phenomenal and has met every need she has had. She was able to get up and down a lot today which took its toll and she is wiped this evening. Tomorrow we will know more about when we will be discharged. I’m torn between wanting to bring my baby home and knowing that we are surrounded by the best care possible by being here. So I’m not rushing it either way. Thank you so much to everyone who has called, texted, or even just stopped by to ask our employees how we are. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever done as a mother. I would rather go through childbirth a hundred times than to have had my baby wheeled away while she reached for me with tears in her eyes. But as scary as this all has been, we are so blessed with the most incredible team of doctors and nurses as well as all of you who have become a part of our village over the years. We will keep you posted on when we make it home, and I can’t wait to get back to see all of you very soon!

Hey Beautiful People, It's Date Night tonight, and we'd love nothing more than for you and your better half to come and enjoy a three course journey through our menu! You split an app, pick your own entrée, and split dessert. It's $45 per person.

My play? Share the Pork Belly, Ramen for me (add shrimp), Vanilla Creme Brulee.

Make a res or just pull up. We'll figure it out either way. :-)

BTW, Miss Lennon is doing great and recovering comfortably. I hear that you have all been asking, and I just want to thank everyone for all the good vibes. We can't say enough about the level of care at Manning Children's down in New Orleans. It's next level.

So, no Michelin news for us this week (😭), but I am hiding a huge announcement in the coming days, so sit tight!

Your weekend has arrived, and my goodness is it pretty outside! The Redfish is gorgeous, and we’re pairing it with some Eubanks farm Spaghetti Sqaush (straight from Lucedale) and Salsa Verde.

Chef BB’s got that crispy Duck served with Orzo Pilaf and Cherry Chipotle Glaze.

Finally, Fried Gnocchi with Chef William’s original Collard Green Pesto!
